The event "Zoo Much Fun" was held in April of 2014. The kids experienced a thrilling adventure through one of the biggest Zoo's of United states The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The day started off with the students gathering at the Zoo's parking lot where we purchased our group tickets. Everyone was given a wrist band and assigned a group. Every group had a variety of age ranges to promote inter-age communication and mentoring. Every group also had a adult group captain to keep watch over the students.

The main objective was to not only enjoy and admire the different creatures that reside on the planet but also to win the day's Scavenger hunt. As soon as we announced that the scavenger hunt would be taking place, and allowed the kids free into the zoo. The kids bolted with enthusiasm each into different directions to beat the others teams at the days challenge.

After the kids had a couple hours to explore, we re grouped at Dhuhur time to pray as a group. This demonstrated to the kids that it is completely reasonable to stop work and play to offer our prayers even in a park. After this small lesson we talked on the subject of admiring the creation of god.

The kids were given an additional couple hours to explore and finish their adventures. After which we gathered for the final time to conclude the event. Here we took a group picture and also announced the group that won the Scavenger hunt. The winning group was awarded gift cards to Barnes and noble at a later date.
