Hocking Hills

Event details

SUMMARY:

This event was held in parrallel with the Chuck E Cheese party. Although this event was focused more towards the teenage and young adult ages. We had a very decent turn out of more than 20 people. Once again Br. Ali lent us a coach bus to give us a ride to the park.

We gathered at the community center very early in the morning and piled in the bus. On the way there most of us were still a little tired so the bus was quite and everyone busy with their own quite form of entertainment. But, as we got close to the actual park and smelt the fresh air of the nature, everyone started getting excited. We tried to play a game but mostly just ended up laughing at the effort.

Once there we went on a long trail all the way around the main park. We had vowed to see every water fall. So, we struggled getting lost at times, asking strangers for help but enjoying every second of the journey.

The guys had their own little game going on which was to swim in every single water body possible. At one point they found a water fall area with a cliff and decided to go cliff diving. It was hilarious watching the dilemma of weather to jump or not. The water wasn't high enough for it to be perfectly safe. They took turn showing the jumper where the rocks were. Mujtaba jumped first and actually hiting his butt on a sharp edge and promised to never try that again. In the end it was a blast and we enjoyed every second of it.

Muhammad Williams at one point wanted to lead the group so to make him feel full filled we gave him the opportunity. It ended up that we wound up off trail and got lost. We saw a really beautiful turtle and unique nature elements that you wouldn't naturally find on the trail. So, while a little stressful it was still exciting and fun. But, make sure next time we don't let him lead cause we don't want to end up off trail where it might actually be more dangerous.

After our adventures on the trail, we had a lunch break. went on another little hike and then headed back home. It was a very adventurous out doors picnic which most people won't forget for a couple years to come.
