SUMMARY:

    The Chosen One was our biggest banquet of the year. We had the opportunity to sponsor Seyed Hadi Qazwani from our personal ASA funds.

    A lot more went into the preparation of the event than it came across on the actual scene. We had multiple training sessions for the various plays speeches and recitations conducted during the event. A lot of our parent and student volunteers worked very hard to coordinate every single little detail for it to be performed so flawlessly on the actual stage.

​

    The media team was literally working till the hour before the event on having the brochures, flyers and programs finalized as things tend to shift back and forth with such a large event. 

​

    On the actual event stage we started with a beautiful recitation. After which we had multiple student plays and speeches all eloquently spoken. We also had very beautiful poetry by our youth participants.

​

    The highlight of the event came last when we had Sr. Shazia give us a few words of wisdom followed by Seyed Hadi taking the stage. Seyed Hadi was very relate-able and enjoyable as hes very young and understands how to present certain ideas so the youth can understand them better. We had a very positive response from the youth who loved him presence, specially when we were taking pictures. Seyed Hadi was very humble and loved to interact with the youth taking selfies and chit chating.

    We were proud to hear his comments about the event saying this was one of the most organized youth events he had spoken at and he was surprised by our conduct and performance. We are very fortunate to have had such a talented community and such a eloquent speaker grace us with his presence.
